Fabulous
wood engraving shows a family of kangaroos
going about their daily business. While I can
find nothing on the artist, this print came
from Animate Creation which was published in
the late 1800s by Selmar Hess. It was originally
sold in little sections by the week and was
so popular that it was printed as a set of
huge leather bound books. I was lucky enough
to buy a number of loose prints – so
I did not take apart a hundred year old book!
In excellent condition.

Size of opening is nearly 7.75” x 9.75”.
