A male white winged dove soars by a Saguaro
Cactus while his less colorful mate sits on the
nest. I know from my own collection that Douglas
Allen Jr. has illustrated a number of wildlife
books, but I am unable to find out very much
about him on the web. This is from Outdoor Life’s
Game Birds of North America.
In perfect condition with
excellent color.
Overall size is 9” x 12”. Size of opening is nearly 6.5” x 9.5”.
