Hudson ‘Thoroughbreds’ of the New York Central
Lines leaving Chicago’s LaSalle St. Station.
The Hudson 4-6-4 wheel arrangement locomotives
were used in passenger service from 1927 until
1950s. Walter Greene painted for the NY Central
Lines in the 1920s – this was probably
originally done for a calendar.
