These five wise men
are having a very serious discussion. Arthur
Szyk is best known for his16th century style
illustrated manuscripts and WWII political
caricatures. This is an illustration for The
Marsh King’s Daughter by Hans Christian
Anderson.
In very good condition with bright color.
There is the suggestion of a faint discoloration
above their heads, but it may just be the paper.
Overall size is 8” x 10”. Size of opening is nearly 5” x
7”.
