The Jackdaw wanted
to be judged the most beautiful of birds so
he stole the brilliantly colored feathers of
others. Harry Rountree was a British artist
who illustrated a wide variety of books from
Alice in Wonderland to Golf Courses of the
British Isles. This is from Aesop’s
Fables.

excellent color.
