A Medieval lady stands alone gazing across a lake. She
seems very sad. William Heath Robinson along
with his brother Charles Robinson, were prolific
fantasy artists at the turn of the 20th century.
William’s pictures often had a touch of
humor in them that is missing in this particular
piece. This was from a box of loose paper but
I suspect it was a bookplate.
In perfect condition with excellent color.

size is 8” x 10”. Size of opening is 4.5” x 6.5”.
